Job Title:

 

Senior Web Developer 

 

Key Responsibilities:  

 

  • Responsible for the continued improvement and development of the proprietary in-house platform. 
  • You will be part of a small but focused software development team that is distributed internationally and will report to the development manager/CTO relating to the delivery of the platform improvements. 
  • You will be expected to work in a manner that supports staged deployment of enhanced applications and solutions for existing and new customers, ensuring that solutions are deployed without adverse effects on existing customer solutions. 
  • You will work with the larger consulting team and take feedback from customers and the team to inform the development road map of the platform. 
  • You will be measured based upon delivery of agreed project milestones. 

 

 

Required Experience:  

 

Proficient in the following: 

  • NODE - Nestjs 
  • Typescript & JavaScript 
  • SQL - Postgres 
  • MongoDB 
  • React – Vite – Redux
  • HTML - CSS/SASS/LESS 

 

Desirable: 

  • Python 
  • AWS Cloud deployment 
  • Docker
  • Kubernetes 
  • Devops CI & CD 
  • Mobile dev 
  • Electron for desktop web applications 

 

 

Required Skills:  

 

  • Self-starter and a person that takes ownership of your own code 
  • The ability to perform bug finding and undertake code corrections 
  • The ability to work within an existing application framework 
  • The ability to work independently due to time zone and workload differences 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset
