Senior Designers at BBH act asbastions of the design department,owning and leading projects that are brimming with design-led concepts. They create work that drives projects forward, supporting Design Directors and Creative dept. to shape project trajectory, guide the design team and unlock the creative potential of projects by crafting design-led solutions to a very high standard. They bring ideas, energy and solid design skills to any task or stage of project; from immersion to strategy to creative expression.
They are expected to be the driver of the designed output of a project, a confident storyteller and an amazing designer and mentor to juniors. They are open to new methods of collaboration, process with other designers, creatives, strategists and other members from different departments. Day-to-day, they guide junior and mid-weight designers through projects that constantly work to improve the reputation and aptitude of the design department to the rest of the agency.
The creation of conceptually-led, strategically-driven, beautifully crafted designs Providing valuable input across allstages of a project; from immersion to strategy to creative expression and through to implementation.
Proactively learning new skills and giving everything a go – e.g. type, copy, art direction, animation, coding (etc) Articulately presenting your work and giving input in client meetings.
Taking responsibility to hit deadlines, timings and being punctual Supporting junior and senior team members, across the design dept. and agency to reach collective goals, while taking initiative and displaying leadership qualities.
Attending events, exhibitions and connect to universities and design Institutions.
Formal training in a specific design discipline or relevant experience.

Proven skills and competencies within design discipline.
Design projects and ideas that show an extremely high quality of conceptually-led, strategically-driven, beautifully crafted designs.

Critically being able to question and challenge briefs and solve design problems creatively.

High level of skill at typical design programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma), thorough understanding of design processes.
