Contract: 12 month maternity cover (within a growing team)
Location: WF2, Parking on Site
Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their dynamic team on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is your chance to contribute to a thriving company and play a key role in managing the end-to-end supply chain process. Not only that, you'll be part of a growing team so there's a high chance other opportunities will present themselves before the end of your contract.
As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the production schedule, inventory management, and demand planning to ensure efficient and effective production that consistently meets customer needs. No slow-moving or obsolete inventory will be created under your watchful eye.
Collaborate with the wider team to update the production schedule and demand planning on a weekly basis, based on sales, inventory, and forecast information.
Track the delivery of raw materials into the warehouse and ensure they arrive on time.
Take charge of inventory management for PPE products and ensure timely delivery to prevent customer back orders.
Prepare and manage customs documentation for importing and exporting freight worldwide.
Support the finance function by checking, allocating, and signing invoices for raw materials, PPE products, and freight charges.
Take on additional tasks that align with your skill set and support the smooth operation of the supply chain.If you are passionate about supply chain management and eager to make a positive impact, this role is perfect for you.
