Calling all Plant Engineers and Plant Mechanics We are currently working with an amazing client who is looking for expereinced and eager people to join their team Plant Engineer The client have excellent plant engineer vacancies, which will require you to proactively undertake the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of machinery within a geographical area (hydraulic excavators, articulated haulers, wheeled loaders, dozers, rollers, crushers, and screens etc). They have an opportunities for Plant Engineers. Both workshop based and Mobile. You will be responsible for effectively and competently carrying out diagnostics, services, and repairs of Construction Equipment. You will ensure that we are delivering first class service to minimise downtime and maximise machine utilisation. Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • To service and repair construction equipment or miscellaneous equipment
  • To identify mechanical problems, using technical knowledge and computerised diagnostic equipment.
  • To carry out duties in a safe commercially focussed way.
  • To carry out all work in line with time guides, highlighting to management where additional work may be required.
  • Maintain a sufficient personal toolkit to enable you to carry out the job effectively
  • To ensure company tool defects are reported, use is in line with current test periods and in line with instructions/training.
  • Accurate completion of systems/paperwork (including but not limited to service reports and work history).
  • To discuss with your Managers and order parts for your work, as necessary.
  • Punctual, self- motivated and hardworking.
Essential Skills
  • A formal apprenticeship / engineering qualification in Plant Maintenance, Agricultural/HGV mechanics (NVQ)
  • Relevant experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy construction plant
  • Proven technical competence on diesel engines, transmissions, drive lines, hydraulics and electrical systems
Desired Skills
  • Hold a full driving licence
  • Over 18 years old.
