What you'll be doing; Managing the day to day operations of the evaporation plant from raw material to final product Using SCADA to manage and adjust plant parameters to optimise production Regularly monitor and document plant parameters to ensure production intermediates and final products remain within the required specification Manage production rates and volumes to ensure all tank capacities and product volumes are managed Collect production samples from specified stages of the production process and complete the necessary laboratory tests to ensure ongoing compliance Document in detail all process activities, actions and testing results Manage operational assets so they are always available and operating at their optimum. Including flushing pipework, cleaning equipment and firefighting inline blockages Firefighting plant issues as and when they arise to minimise production loss Maintain effective communication with the client's production team and ensuring they are regularly updated with plant availability Managing chemical stocks and advising when these need to be replenished Working to plant SOP's at all times Maintaining and contributing to the site's Safety Culture What we're looking for; Experience of working in the chemical industry or experience of working in a production environment Some engineering experience desirable but not required A good understanding of health and safety FLT licence desirable but not required SCADA knowledge desirable but not required IT proficiency - experience of working with either Microsoft Office or Google Drive What's next?
