Our client, a reputable organisation in the Supply Chain industry, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to join their team in Balbriggan, Ireland.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for working within the Ireland Supply & Demand and transport operation, interfacing with SAP, and managing orders end-to-end.

Location: Balbriggan, Dublin Hours: Two shift pattern, alternate weeks of 6am
- 2pm and 2pm to 10pm Salary: €34,000 plus shift allowance Key Responsibilities: Safely work within the team, ensuring that all loads required are built safely and accurately and are fully recorded and logged.

Analyse productivity and efficiency, influencing and challenging resource allocation as necessary.

Apply a proactive, cross-functional outlook throughout the entire operation, liaising with transport providers, team colleagues, the customer services team, sales representatives, and the customer to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Suggest and drive process improvements across the operation, fostering a continuous improvement culture within the team.

Meet budgetary targets and operate within defined key performance metrics (KPIs).

Skills and Qualifications: Excellent written and spoken English skills are required.

Good analytical thought and attention to detail.

Relevant skills such as ITC and FLT driving are necessary.

Positive "can-do" attitude and the tenacity to challenge in the correct way.

Excellent communication skills with all members of the logistics team.

Physical fitness, as there is a daily/regular manual handling component to the role.

SAP knowledge and proficiency in key performance metrics, budget management, and stock control.

Experience in warehousing, customer service, and sales.

Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on productivity and efficiency analysis.

Internal and External Relationships:
- Logistic Manager: Regular communication regarding logistics operations.

- Sales Representative/Customer Services: Ad hoc collaboration and support.

- Customer: Ad hoc communication to address customer needs and expectations.

- Transporter: Ad hoc coordination when required.
