Position Overview: The School are seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join our outstanding department. This role involves teaching across the ability and age range, supporting the development of English to the highest standards for all pupils at Key Stages 3-5. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional, committed to fostering a love for English language and literature among students.

Deliver high-quality English lessons to students across Key Stages 3-5.
Support the development of English skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening.
Foster a positive learning environment that encourages pupil engagement, attainment, and positive behavior.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies and resources.
Contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications in English.
Experience of teaching English at Key Stages 3-5.
High expectations of pupil engagement, attainment, and behavior.
A strong commitment to your professional development and career management, including excellent CPD and leadership development opportunities at all levels.
A focus on Teaching and Learning and raising standards for all.
A positive and stimulating school climate that values the contribution of all staff.
