r10 is actively seeking a skilled Business Analyst on behalf of our client, a forward-thinking Lloyd’s Syndicate. The role involves joining the innovative Projects & Change team within the Operations function. As a pivotal member of this team, you will assume the responsibilities of a Business Analyst, offering vital support in the execution of a variety of projects encompassing Business, Technology, and Regulatory change.
Your influence will extend across our client and affiliate companies within the London Market, contributing to a dynamic project pipeline over the next three years. Lead and drive change and transformation projects, with a particular focus on the implementation of the Underwriting (UW) workbench.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements for effective project planning.
Oversee end-to-end implementations, managing timelines and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
Actively contribute to continuous improvement efforts, identifying opportunities for optimization in the UW workbench and related implementations.
Foster clear communication with stakeholders to maintain alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
Documents to be created using the Microsoft Office suite of products for project management including Microsoft Project & Microsoft Visio.
Assist in testing of new/upgraded system implementations working with internal stakeholders in other departments as well as the Operations team including UW Mgt, UW Controls & our Data/MI team.
Elicit business requirements using document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, task and workflow analysis.
Requirement to input into the Project Governance framework via contribution to the packs created for working groups, steering groups and the monthly Project Delivery Group.
Provide other ad hoc support to the Head of Projects.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a focus on change and transformation projects within the insurance industry.
Track record of successfully managing technical roadmaps and overseeing complex implementations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project & Microsoft Visio.
