They are currently seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to ensure the smooth operation of their production facility through maintenance, repair, and testing of instrument-related equipment and systems. This role requires a dedicated individual with a passion for safety and efficiency, who thrives in a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: Instrument Technician

  • Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplined team to maintain and operate the oilfield in accordance with operational and maintenance procedures.
  • Conduct maintenance activities on safety systems, fire & gas systems, flow measurement systems, pressure, temperature, and level control, gas detection, DCS systems, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems.
  • Develop and review operational and maintenance procedures to optimise efficiency and safety.
  • Utilise Maximo work orders to prioritise and complete scheduled and breakdown maintenance tasks.
  • Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to support project activities.
  • Adhere to Change Management policies for plant modifications proposals.
  • Employ company Observation Safety Techniques to report safe and unsafe acts.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements at all times.
Key Requirements: Instrument Technician
  • Accredited apprenticeship or HNC equivalent in an engineering discipline.
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas Industry preferred; related industry experience will be considered.
  • Experience with ATEX equipment (Compex Trained) desirable but not essential.
Work Schedule: Instrument Technician
  • Rotational pattern of 4 X 10.5 hr shifts (06:45/17:15), alternating start days between Monday and Tuesday.
  • Flexibility for overtime during projects and shutdowns as required.
