The font of all knowledge in the Microsoft Solutions discipline, this role is for a specialist in Microsoft technologies, covering both Azure and M365 services as well as infrastructure solutions. Responsible for making sure that deployment, roll out and delivery is everything our client expects, and represents Stridon in the best possible light. Lead the deployment of all Microsoft professional services projects and ongoing programmes across the Stridon client base including
Microsoft 365 services
Cyber security
To be the subject matter expert on all matters related to Microsoft Solutions including Azure, M365 and Windows Server related services across the Stridon infrastructure
Responsible for deployment, configuring, and management of deliverables across all client solution implementations including ADDS, Certificates, Certificate Authorities, DNS, DHCP, DFS, File System, Group Policy, Radius, Exchange, SharePoint, Federation, Web Services and SQL
Manage Remote Management and Monitoring tools to respond to and remediate problems where they have been escalated
Deploy vulnerability management tools such as Microsoft Defender to scan for and remediate vulnerabilities across client infrastructure
Provide expertise and mentoring to Managed Services engineers in problem management of Microsoft solutions and service-related incidents
Operate to defined SLA, OLA and KPI models, in alignment with ITIL best practice and client commitments
Oversee development and maintenance of documentation and knowledge management tools for both client and internal systems and processes, using designated documentation tools such as IT Glue and Lucid Chart
Operate as part of the out of hours on-call rota to respond to ticket escalation and system alerts as required
Configuration, management, and deployment expertise across a broad range of technologies, which should include a mix of:
Microsoft technology stack (Windows Server, Exchange, SQL, Active Directory)
Microsoft Azure IaaS and PaaS architecture
Microsoft Office 365
Networking concepts (LAN/WAN/Routing/Firewalling)
Citrix Virtual Apps, Desktops and ADC
PowerShell and other scripting languages
A good understanding of cyber security best practice. Microsoft 365 Administrator Expert
