As a member of our Technology Services Team, you will be instrumental in outfitting our roads with advanced systems, elevating safety and efficiency for every traveller.

Ensure all NH Service Now data is accurately captured and entered.

and perform reactive maintenance, including the reinstatement of sites, cables, and equipment damaged by others.

Carry out fault/failure rectification and maintenance duties, included within the shift/on-call rota and/or out-of-hours maintenance within the contract response times.

Ensure that all faults are repaired within contract timescales and that all planned maintenance is completed within contract timescales.

Assist the subcontractor as necessary with work on Traffic Signal systems and related equipment.

Relevant technical qualification or certification in electronics/ telecommunications engineering or 5 years’ experience working on Motorway communications or closely related systems.

Good knowledge of National Highways communications infrastructure and standards

NMCS 2 Communications experience i.e. good all round technology experience e.g. MIDAS, CCTV, VMS, ERTs, NTIS, HAWIS, Traffic Signals etc.

Able to work in different areas of the network and be flexible on working approaches

CPS is a joint Venture project with Balfour Beatty, Atkins, and Egis. The M25 is the busiest section of motorway in Europe and requires careful and efficient planning of work in order to deliver over £100m of annual investment in the highway infrastructure each year, in addition to planned and reactive maintenance activity.
