Job Description We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Maths Product team, working on our GCSE/Level 2 Maths qualifications. Our team is responsible for defining the strategy for Pearson's market-leading Maths qualifications for UK secondary schools. It is an exciting time to join the team as we focus on how to improve support for our existing qualifications as well as leading the way on the future of Maths as we approach qualification reform. As a Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Maths education in the UK, driving innovation and ensuring our qualifications remain at the forefront of educational excellence. Responsibilities Conduct a continuous programme of research to understand the needs of teachers, learners and school/trust/college leaders Monitor market trends, key policy announcements and competitor activity Use understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to inform decisions about developments to our qualifications Input into the development of new qualifications, including leading on projects to trial new approaches Develop and commission high-quality free resources, services and training events to provide our customers with the best support in the market Manage budgets for given qualifications Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, compliance, and customer focus Work with sales and marketing colleagues to develop an effective data-driven campaign strategy and customer journey S kills and experience Experience in product development or management for the education sector. Subject knowledge or familiarity with our Maths qualifications is desirable but not essential Customer empathy Commercial awareness Ability to work flexibly and manage multiple projects Excellent communication skills This vacancy will close on 19th December.
