Group Head of Financial Reporting

My client is a fast-growing, international business seeking a strong financial reporting candidate with a foundation in controllership. They are looking to hire a Group Head of Financial Reporting to lead transformation of the extant reporting procedures and ensure best-in-class financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to ensure long-term financial sustainability
  • Oversee the preparation of financial statements
  • Manage the relationship with the auditors
  • Oversee month-end reporting processes globally
  • Monitor cash flow, profitability, and other key financial metrics
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, and regulatory bodies
  • Act as the go-to technical lead for all financial reporting related queries across the group
  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals

Qualifications:

  • ACA / CA qualified with an audit background, preferably Big 4
  • Proven experience in a senior financial management role
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
