Job Summary:

We are looking for an outgoing and pragmatic junior naval architect / CAD designer with attention to detail and accuracy to join our friendly team based in modern offices. A strong team player with a proactive approach. Well organised with excellent communication skills. The work is varied and would include general arrangement and detail fit out design, weight estimating, stability and general engineering.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create and modify detailed drawings using CAD software
  2. Assist in the preparation of design plans, layouts, and schematics
  3. Collaborate with senior designers and engineers to understand project requirements
  4. Conduct research and gather relevant information to support design decisions
  5. Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards
  6. Maintain organised project files and documentation
  7. Participate in project meetings and provide input as needed
Requirements:
  • Honours degree in Naval Architecture
  • Minimum one year post-graduate work experience
  • Thorough knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhino 3D
  • Experience in Superyacht and power craft design
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design specifications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
