Our client, a leading food manufacturer is looking for a transport professional to optimise their route planning and enable the efficient transfer of inventory, so as to enhance delivery efficiency and cost effectiveness.

Key responsibilities

* Ensure efficient and effective planning of all routes.

* Ensure efficient and effective stock transfer between the three business sites.

* Assist with loading accuracy, stock rotation and liaising with stock control.

* Liaise effectively with drivers and warehouse staff.

Candidate requirements

* A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent will be desirable.

* Route or Transport planning experience within a FMCG environment.

* Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary will be circa £35K to £42K + Benefits.
