Job Title: In-House Construction Solicitor Salary: Up to £85,000
My client, a recognised brand in the southeast of England is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction lawyer to join an esteemed in-house legal team. The successful candidate will be an expert in the drafting and negotiation of various contract types such as NEC and JCT.
Draft, review, negotiate and provide commercially minded legal advice on NEC, JCT contractual documents.
Interaction with the engineering, procurement, and project teams from pre-tender stage through to completion
On adjudication process and be responsible for preparing the claim and liaising with third parties and external lawyers as required.
Advising the business on applicable law and regulations.
Supporting the Head of Legal
Trained with a well-regarded law firm or in-house preferably with knowledge of the energy or utilities sector
Confident lawyer with practical construction and commercial law experience
Experience working on complex projects with ability to multi-task, problem solve and balance competing priorities.
