We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tendering Engineer to join our clients growing team in the UK. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our company's success in the electrical engineering sector.

Job Description
As an Electrical Tendering Engineer, you will play a crucial role in our tendering department, providing technical expertise and guidance for proposed electrical schemes.

Responsibilities will include:
Producing tenders according to department loading demands
Reviewing technical enquiries and identifying those suitable for standard pricing
Collaborating with the external salesforce to support and execute strategies for product and solution establishment during the identification phase
Maintaining and updating standard quotation and pricing tools to meet market needs
Reviewing and approving tender price/costing estimates, submitting for management approval as per tendering processes
Conducting formal risk analysis and mitigation for appropriate tenders
Verifying received orders against quotations and ensuring all information is present before handover to contracts
Assisting the tendering team with technical input for electrical projects
Analysing project specifications and drawings to determine scope of work
Ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations

Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Strong background in electrical engineering principles and practices
Proven experience in tendering for electrical projects at 132kV
Sound commercial knowledge of the customer base and their business drivers
Good level of knowledge of high voltage electrical distribution
Knowledge of high voltage transformers
Understanding of competitor offers and up-to-date switchgear technology
Awareness of the company's manufacturing/purchasing strategy and manufacturing capability
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office suite
