The Role
Civil Enforcement Officer - Maidstone.
Earn £23,795.20 per annum for 40 hours or £11.44 per hour. Overtime is paid at time and a half, (1.5)

Wecan offer you:
Hours:5 out of 7 Mon-Sun between 0700-2200
This would be on a rota, and you should expect this to include regular Saturdays, Sundays, or bank holidays.

So, what can you expect as a Civil Enforcement Officer?
You will be helping members of the public, patrolling streets and council car parksadvising and upholding parking restrictions.

This can be doneeitheron foot and using a works supplied cycle or vehicle.

- Yes, you will be issuing parking tickets but you wont have targets as this job is about creating a positive impact on the local neighbourhood.
- You will be reporting any defects to street furniture, such as signs and road markings and looking out for any violations of civil laws.
- You will keep a detailed log of the violations and debrief incidents that occur during your shift.
- You will provide a high level of all-round customer service, providing the public with useful information and advice.

Civil Enforcement Officers are the eyes and ears of the local area.

Patrolling areas, providing advice to residents, and members of the public, whist enforcing road traffic orders and issuing parking fines.
