What you will be doing As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you will ensure Male and female adults with a range of mental health conditions in this Mental Health service receive high-quality care, while also supporting your colleagues and promoting positive teamwork. The wards are busy, with plenty to keep you engaged and motivated, and a good amount of routine and variety. Your day-to-day will include: Providing high-quality, effective and compassionate nursing care to service users Being responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care Providing mentorship and support to team members Observing, recording and reporting all service user changes, and maintaining accurate records of care provided Skills and knowledge you will have: A relevant nursing qualification NMC registration Strong team-working skills A high level of self-motivation and a flexible approach A positive attitude and be naturally caring and compassionate A commitment to high-quality care and to values and evidence-based practice Where you will be working: Location: Llantilio Pertholey, Abergavenny, Monmouthshire, Wales, NP7 6NY You will be working at Ty Gwyn Hall, a rehabilitation and recovery service for people who have been diagnosed with a range of mental health conditions. Working as part of the experienced multi-disciplinary team, you will support service users through every stage of their recovery journey within the hospital’s five individual units. With a low staff turnover, low use of agency staff and a respected team who work collaboratively to achieve positive outcomes for people in our care, Ty Gwyn Hall is a great choice for your career.
