Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities for early years students.
Support children's learning and development by providing one-on-one or group assistance during classroom activities.
Supervise and ensure the safety of children during indoor and outdoor playtime.
Help with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
Communicate effectively with parents and provide them with updates on their child's progress.
Follow school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
Level 3 Early Years Education qualification.
Nursery Nurse qualification.
Prior experience working as an Early Years Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
Experience in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable.
Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Knowledge of child development theories and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with young children.
Experience in leading a nursery room is advantageous.
Additional certifications or training related to early years education.
This role is temporary and expected to work full-time hours.
The Early Years Teaching Assistant will primarily work in a classroom setting within an educational institution.
There may be a requirement for outdoor activities and supervision.
The role involves regular interaction with children, parents, and other staff members.
The Early Years Teaching Assistant must adhere to school policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.

07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
