North Star is a very successful not for profit Housing Association that has built and managed social housing for 50 years. With a national reputation for its innovation, creativity, and cultural approach that places people at its centre, it provides housing and services across Teesvalley, Southwest Durham and neighbouring areas. As well providing around homes for rent, they also provide homes for people with support needs.

After 15 years of transformative leadership and cultural development, the current Chief Executive is stepping aside, creating a rare opportunity to lead an organisation that is truly making a difference. Working with a strong board you will steward the culture, steer our strategic direction, and live and breathe our values. With a proven track record of senior leadership in the housing sector or a related regulated sector, you will be able to evidence passion for best in sector performance. You will have a flair for building and maintaining strong relationships, have a growth mindset and your resilience, adaptability and collaborative spirit will navigate challenges and achieve our shared future vision.
