Forseven, a revolutionary company looking to transform the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices, is seeking an exceptional Indirect Senior Buyer to join our highly skilled and dynamic Strategic Sourcing Team.
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity out of one of our offices near Warwick, Bicester or Guilford where the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.

Reporting to the Indirect Purchasing Manager, you will lead sourcing initiatives, negotiate complex contracts, and mentor junior team members to drive operational excellence and achieve cost savings targets.
Develop and implement category strategies for complex & high-value indirect spend categories, aligning procurement activities with organisational goals and objectives.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier segmentation, and risk assessments to inform category strategies and identify opportunities for value creation.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection, RFx processes, and contract negotiations, to secure optimal terms and conditions for contracts and agreements.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, acting as the primary point of contact and driving continuous improvement in supplier performance.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of procurement activities and track performance against targets.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements, cost savings, and opportunities for improvement.
Experience in purchasing roles, with a focus on indirect procurement.
• Experience includes Marketing, Professional Services, Property, Facilities, HR, Engineering Services, IT Software & Hardware, Design Services, Automotive Sales Infrastructure (desirable)
• Proficiency in purchasing tools and technologies, such as eSourcing platforms and ERP systems.
• Knowledge of purchasing best practices, contract law, and regulatory requirements.
