Overview:To assist the Factory Manager in the day to day manufacturing process and packing operations including hand-overs where appropriate with night hygiene and opposite Production Manager.
Hours: 10.30pm to 6.30am
Responsibilities
* To carry out disciplinary/counselling of all direct reports.
* Manage RTW procedure in line with company absence management policy.
* Reviewing daily operational plans and requirements
* To carry out regular reviews of key staff and appraisals where relevant.
* Operating within health and safety guidelines
* Managing the supply of raw materials in/out of the production area
* Overseeing the team and working with them to ensure production target KPI's are met.
* Cover for factory manager while not on site.

Qualifications/ Specification
Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 or Higher
IT Literate
Food Manufacturing Experience in a similar role
ILM trained preferable.
IOSH trained preferable
Well Organised and Disciplined
Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills
Strong People Management Skills
A willingness to help out and support the wider team
Enthusiastic, keen to learn with a strong work ethic
