Join our Ecosystems Solutions department as our new Nature Positive Manager and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future.
As our new Nature Positive Manager , you will be part of our Environment and Health division, with oversight of a range of innovative biodiversity projects for global manufacturing, industrial and extractives businesses, and UK infrastructure and development projects. Projects relating to corporate biodiversity strategy will vary across ecosystems, climates and geographies, and sectors. You will join a positive, progressive team delivering projects that use a range of science-based metrics and deliver nature-based solutions. Technical expert on Biodiversity Net Gain, using the Natural England Biodiversity Metric and other metrics
Business development with global clients to support and deliver their Nature Positive ambitions
Main point of contact with Ramboll project managers, clients, partner organisations and sub-consultants
Fee proposal preparation and assisting with client relationship management
Line management of junior ecology and biodiversity consultants
Provide input to resource planning
You will be part of a specialist team including ecologists, nature based solutions specialists and ecotoxicologists delivering work in support of sustainable development, including biodiversity net gain, natural capital accounting and ecosystem services. Our team is small enough that you will get to know everyone and feel you have a significant role to play, big enough that there are people to bounce ideas off and with a range of different specialists and we are doing some interesting work on nature positive/corporate BNG work/renewables. There is an interesting variety of work and opportunity to collaborate with colleagues in a variety of other environmental disciplines. Significant experience in managing and delivering Biodiversity Net Gain projects across the UK, including biodiversity design and offsetting
Able to harness biodiversity conservation skills and knowledge to advise our Nature Positive clients
An understanding of the UK planning system in relation to development and the integration of ecology
Proficient user of MS Office software
Full clean UK driving licence, preferable
