Position: CAE Process Automation - Project Engineer
Job Type: Permanent
Responsible for automating virtual CAE techniques for battery, fuel cell, electric drive unit, and IC engine durability.
# Develop tools and techniques to enhance speed, capability, improve quality, and robustness of virtual models.
# Develop coding to automate new and existing CAE processes to reduce time and improve quality.
# Determine automation and optimization requirements, metrics, and targets.
# Support department prevent reoccurrence process identify CAE failures and undertake annual projects to resolve.
# Support agile ceremonies such as start-up, backlog refinement, retrospective, and sprint planning.
# Support software vendors, universities, and engineering service providers when necessary.
# Support outsourced methods projects as required.
# Support the training of CAE members.
# Support familiarization of CAE members with CAE automation processes.
# Support the design, development workstreams within the scope of the engineering development projects.
# Conduct the analysis/simulations and development with utmost quality within the agile framework.
# Support prototype design freeze activities for customer applications, support customer production/prototype sites & liaise with their engineering team.
# Develop and deliver new process training material.
# Undertake virtual verification of the PT units as required.

Excellent understanding of process automation and optimization, including pre-processing and post-processing automation.
Previous experience of delivering engineering or analytical projects.
Competent in the use of VBA, MATLAB, Simulink, Python, JAVA, and similar software packages.
Previous experience of battery/electric drive units and internal combustion component/system level development using CAE.
Experience in continuous improvements to business processes to support customer service and financial objectives.
Experience working in AGILE.
