Position Overview: As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operational efficiency and reliability of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires a solid foundation in mechanical maintenance. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular maintenance, inspections and repairs on machinery, equipment and facilities.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic issues to determine appropriate solutions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address urgent maintenance requirements and minimize downtime.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work done, parts used, and time spent.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company standards at all times.
Duties of a Maintenance Engineer: * As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operational efficiency and reliability of our facilities and equipment. This is a hands on position that requires a solid foundation in mechanical maintenance. Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer
  • Mechanical qualifications to a City & Guilds or NVQ standard.
  • Completion of a recognised apprenticeship programme.
  • Proven experience mechanical maintenance within a Process, Production or Manufacturing Environment.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
  • Effective communication skills to report maintenance updates.
