Senior Backend Developer 1-year contract
2 days per week onsite

Our client has developed a real-time travel app, the app launched on iOS devices in August 2020 and on Android in December 2020. The first phase included multi-modal journey planning, real-time train status, nearby bus stops and live arrivals. 4 respectively in the Apple and Android app stores.

With this new workload in mind, we are looking to find a Senior Backend Developer to join on an initial 1-year contract.

Ability to work with dev teams to provide code and/or configuration fixes for C# based back-end systems.
Experience in supporting and maintaining Microsoft Azure based API's, message queues and notifications.
The Senior Software Developer will have expert knowledge of defining and building integrated solutions using:

Azure DevOps
C# .NET Core
NET Core
Microsoft SQL Server
React, JavaScript, Typescript, CSS, HTML
Microsoft Identity Platform.

The Senior Software Developer will work with all others as necessary within the project including the Product Owners, Solution Architects and other stakeholders to establish an optimal solution which meets requirements, adheres to technical strategy/constraints and considers total cost of ownership.

Contract Details:
This is an inside IR35 contract role, offering competitive remuneration of approximately £450 per day via an Umbrella company.
