Comserv are looking for a Multi-Trade Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have not only their main trade as a Carpenter/Plumber but will also have proven experience undertaking a variety of jobs in a reactive maintenance environment.

Responsibilities and Duties, reporting to the Supervisor, your duties will include but not limited to:

Multi Trade Operative:

  • Undertaking all aspects of repairs/maintenance work (given your skill set) to the required quality standards.
  • Assessing the work requirements when you get to site.
  • Communicating with the Call Centre in an accurate and timely manner via telephone to gain each job and to update the service co-ordinators with the work you believe is required and what you have subsequently undertaken.
  • Ensuring that you follow the Company’s safe working practices and safety procedures at all times

The ideal candidate will have/be:

  • Previous Carpentry and Plumbing experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Needs to be good with working at heights, either ladders or scaffold
