We have a fantastic new opportunity for an Electronics Engineer to join a state-of-the-art R&D company based in North Cambridgeshire. You will be working across a plethora of different cutting-edge development projects across industries such as Medical Devices, Consumer Electronics, Automation, Wireless Communications, IoT, Robotics, autonomous tech, etc. Are you ready to apply Make sure you understand all the responsibilities and tasks associated with this role before proceeding. You will join the friendly and supportive Electronics and Systems group where you will be involved in a multitude of different electronics development projects seeing them develop from concept to a deliverable. Electronic Design Engineer requirements Degree in electronic engineering or physics or a relevant discipline. Recent experience analysing, designing, constructing & testing electronic circuits. Proficiency in using electronic test equipment (e.g. oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers, etc.) to validate and investigate circuits. Along with knowledge of design verification, compliance testing and test automation methodologies. A strong understanding of analogue and digital circuit design. Fluency in schematic and PCB design tools for generating manufacturing files (e.g. Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, etc.). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the design, development and testing phases of projects. Familiarity with EMC standards, EMC measurements and design to meet for EMC Understanding of communication protocols and interfaces, such as Ethernet, USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and serial communication. Experience developing software for electronics systems written in languages such as C, C++, Python beneficial. Also beneficial would be any of these: Medical devices development, designing intrinsically safe electronic systems, Matlab, algorithms development, DSP, Signal Processing and design for manufacture experience.
