At LifeSearch, our Compliance Advisory Officer will play a crucial role in making sure we meet our regulatory requirements and deliver the best possible outcomes for our customers. You’ll be the go to person for providing regulatory advice across LifeSearch, guiding our teams and helping ensure we're always compliant with FCA guidelines. You’ll work closely with our Deputy Head of Compliance and collaborate with colleagues to promote a strong compliance culture across the business. Responding to compliance queries, flagging non-compliance issues, and preparing reports.
Keeping our compliance policies up to date, and assisting with regular reviews and updates.
Supporting the creation and delivery of regulatory training in collaboration with the Learning and Development team.
Acting as a key stakeholder in projects, offering advice on governance and regulatory matters.
Contributing to the development of a positive compliance culture, ensuring our values and customer-first approach shine through in all we do.
At least 2 years of experience in a compliance or audit role within financial services (or a similar regulated environment).
Excellent communication skills – you’ll need to explain regulatory requirements clearly and influence people at all levels.
Strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft applications.
A strategic thinker who can assess risks and provide balanced feedback.
Bonus points if you’ve got protection knowledge or are willing to study for a protection advice qualification
