Our client is a global, innovative national real estate and infrastructure consultancy, with several offices across the UK who work with a variety of high calibre and long-standing clients across a number of sectors. That means delivering better outcomes for their clients, helping their people to realise their potential, and doing their part to create a green, inclusive and productive world where opportunities are open to all. They offer independent advice, transforming performance to safeguard the commercial interests of their clients embarking on investment programmes across real estate, infrastructure and natural resources. They are investing heavily into bespoke technology and are ahead of the curve with digital innovation. They are now seeking an Associate Director to join their Project Management and help support by growing their own team within the Oxford area.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a proactive individual to take responsibility for providing all services relating to project management within Oxford. To lead and coordinate project activities, ensuring good communication and adherence to governance processes.
# To drive exceptional delivery, health & safety, commercial, risk management and quality performance on infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle.
# To develop a team of Project Managers and Senior Project Manager with a strong pipeline of work.
Project management discipline, to include:
# Helping to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters.
# Identifying and ensuring that the appropriate line manager is aware of quality, safety, health and environment issues.
# Establishing effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout the project.
# Project planning, including producing the detailed project plan.
# Leading and facilitating the overall cross-functional project team.
# Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
# Monitoring and advising upon project finances.
# Managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications.
# Preparing formal project progress and other reports.
# Taking a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages.
# Financial management – Ensuring prompt client invoicing and utilising FMS in order to monitor a project’s financial status.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a consultancy or developer environment and demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results.
