About Our Practice:
Established in 1897, we are a thriving and proudly independent small animal practice located in the picturesque Wiltshire market town of Devizes. Our state-of-the-art, purpose-built facilities offer a comfortable and well-lit workspace, equipped with all the amenities expected in a top-notch general practice. We take pride in our team of experienced and dedicated veterinarians, some of whom are pursuing certificates in medicine, cardiology, and ophthalmology. For more complex cases, we have the added advantage of Vet-CT teleconsulting specialists to support our efforts.

Work-Life Balance:
At our practice, we value the importance of a healthy work-life balance. Our practice hours reflect this commitment, with regular finishes at 5-6pm and one half-day off per week.

Out-of-Hours Commitment:
While we provide an out-of-hours service for our clients, we prioritize fairness in the rota. Currently, our veterinarians cover 1 in 6 weekends, with an additional day off in lieu the following week, and typically one weekday night per week. Additionally, there is a 1 in 6 Saturday morning commitment. As we expand our team, the out-of-hours responsibilities will be equally shared, reducing the frequency of on-call duty.
