Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated M&E Project Manager with a strong electrical bias . The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and delivering M&E projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead and manage M&E projects with a focus on electrical engineering, from planning through to execution and handover.
  • Technical Oversight: Provide technical expertise and oversight on electrical installations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Scheduling: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all project phases.
  • Team Coordination: Coordinate and supervise multidisciplinary teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as necessary.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements, issues, and next steps.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in project management within the M&E sector, with a strong electrical engineering bias.
  • Certifications: Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are desirable.
  • Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
  • Project Tools: Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel to project sites as required
