Darktrace is seeking a talented and creative UI/UX Developer with a strong background in research visualization to join the team. As a UI/UX Developer, you will collaborate with our researchers, working on AI and HPC projects, to create visually stunning and informative representations of their work. This role requires both a deep understanding of user experience design principles and the technical skills to bring these designs to life. 
This is a hybrid role, and the expectation would be to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the Cambridge office.

As the UI/UX Developer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Work closely with researchers to understand their project objectives, data, and visualization needs. 
Design and develop visually engaging and informative representations of research data and findings, using various visualization techniques and tools. 
Collaborate with researchers and other team members to iterate on designs, incorporating feedback to improve the overall user experience and visual appeal. 
Implement responsive and accessible user interfaces using modern web development technologies. 
Optimize visualizations for performance, ensuring they load quickly and run smoothly on various devices and platforms. 
During the interview process you’ll be able to demonstrate your ability of UI/UX design and front-end development and will show an understanding of writing code in a production environment. Prior experience and can demonstrate previous experience on projects encompassing research visualization or data visualization,
