About Us: Bond Recruit are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction main contractor specializing in data centre and clean room projects. With a strong commitment to safety, quality, and innovation, they deliver exceptional results for their clients across the U.K, the projects you will be working on are based in Oxford. As they embark on an exciting phase of growth, they are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager / Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join their team.

Position Overview: They are looking for a skilled Health and Safety Manager / Senior Health and Safety Advisor with expertise in the data centre and clean room sector to ensure the highest standards of safety across their construction projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining comprehensive health and safety policies, procedures, and protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, implement, and oversee health and safety policies and procedures specific to data centre and clean room construction projects.

* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry best practices.

* Provide guidance and support to project teams on health and safety matters, including risk assessments, method statements, and safety training.

* Investigate incidents and near misses, and develop strategies to prevent reoccurrence.

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure alignment with health and safety requirements.

* Keep abreast of legislative changes and industry trends to continuously improve health and safety practices.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Minimum of 3 years of experience in health and safety management within the construction industry, with a focus on data centre and clean room projects.

* NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification in Occupational Health and Safety.

* Proven track record of successfully managing health and safety on large-scale construction projects.

* Strong knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.

* NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent is desirable.

* Membership of IOSH or similar professional body is preferred.
