We currently have an opening for an Application Engineer

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in a leading, global OEM's success by serving as the intermediary between sales and customers. Your primary objective will be to establish yourself as the foremost technical authority for foundation equipment, ensuring exceptional customer service while adhering to the Company’s core result areas: Business Performance, Customer Focus, People and Teamwork, and Leadership.

Your Responsibilities as an Application Engineer:
  1. Foster strong relationships with customers by collaborating closely with Sales and Aftersales, conducting visits to job sites, and showcasing expertise in various applications and solutions required for specific tasks.
  2. Act as the key link between Sales and customers to bolster and expand market share of foundation equipment.
  3. Develop training programs to enhance product knowledge within the company, covering areas such as pile walls and other ground improvement techniques.
  4. Provide technical support to customers, engineers, and service stations.
  5. Offer guidance and recommendations to sales personnel and customers regarding suitable foundation methods based on job site conditions and requirements.
  6. Advise customers on the proper utilization of company foundation equipment and the application of contemporary foundation methods utilizing said equipment.
  7. Furnish technical support to the business and address any technical inquiries related to this equipment category.
  8. Identify potential product enhancements for designated market applications and liaise with the factory product development team to communicate both needs and suggestions.
To excel as an Application Engineer, the ideal candidate should possess:
  • GCSEs with grades A to C (9 to 4 equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • Background in geotechnical, civil, or plant engineering, or equivalent education and experience in deep foundation techniques, operation, and job layouts.
  • Previous field experience as a Service Engineer.
  • Knowledge of deep foundations and requisite equipment.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
