Job Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Weight Control Engineer to join our team for an exciting Floating Wind project. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of weight-related aspects throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise in weight control to estimate, monitor, and report weights and centre of gravity (CoG) of dry, lift, and operating weights relevant to offshore structures.
  • Identify and monitor weight implications due to design changes, ensuring adherence to project specifications and requirements.
  • Coordinate all activities related to Weight Control in accordance with project and Client requirements, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified engineer with design experience in weight control.
  • Proven experience in weight control, with a strong background in design.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and hand calculations.
  • Familiarity with MathCAD software preferred.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
