Operations Test Engineer

CMC are looking for a Operations Test Engineer to work with our partner client whom has over 9000 locations worldwide, to assist with the design and implementation of test processes of components or products in a manufacturing environment. The right Consultant will be an experienced Test Engineer that has worked on similar roles. Consultants must have experience developing, maintaining and upgrading test equipment and architectures for application products. Ensuring all test procedures comply with safety and manufacturing standards. This will be a fulltime, onsite assignment based in Milton Keynes with an initial duration of 12 months, possibility for an extension or transition into a permanent contract after the initial 12 months.

Responsibilities:

  • Use of Vector & CanAnalyzer to communicate with battery pack & associated assembles
  • Creating dashboards for the Operations team to easily interpret & read battery communication data
  • Create/develop in line and end of line battery verification process & procedures
  • Create/develop and verify test scripts for module/battery pack cycling using NHR's & AV900/lynx
  • Create/Develop leak test process/procedures for in line & end of line quality checks using Sciemetric/Furnace controls/Infacon
  • Develop Operations technician team in core test competencies and use of test equipment.
  • Define hardware requirements for battery programs (including harnesses and test equipment)

Occasionally travel to offsite test sites which will be done during work hours and using company cars.
