About the role

  1. Provide legal support and advice on a wide range of commercial matters.
  2. Advise on financial regulatory matters, including consumer credit, insurance, AML, and investment products.
  3. Assist in the development and implementation of compliance policies and procedures for financial services.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks associated with business operations.
  5. Keep abreast of changes in laws and regulations that could affect the business.
  6. Provide training and guidance to other departments on legal and compliance matters.

Who are you?

  • England & Wales Qualified Solicitor
  • 3-5 PQE with experience in FS reg or at a FinTech
  • Understanding of commercial and contract law
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members at all levels
