About the Role

As a Machine Learning Engineer , you will hold a key role within our team. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning/deep learning models to solve complex problems across various domains. The engineer's role extends beyond model creation to integrating these models into our production systems and optimizing their performance, emphasizing the practical application of machine learning solutions, with the collaboration with cross-functional teams. Your Responsibility

● Advance our Autonomous AI Agent development, including designing, developing, and augmenting agents with machine learning/deep learning algorithms, LLMs and other models

● Track and investigate the latest machine learning ideas and concepts, rapidly prototype and experiment with new findings in the field, evaluate the feasibility and performance of various AI algorithms and models, iterating based on results to produce timely outcomes

● Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and product managers, to deliver machine learning additions to Eigent AI’s products

● Document your work thoroughly, including the algorithms employed, details of experiments conducted, and the results obtained, and proactively engage with the team to discuss your findings and ensure the alignment of your work with project objectives and outcomes

● Participate in Agile development workflow

● Provide fellow team members with feedback, support, and mentorship to foster a collaborative work environment

● Being a core part of a robust product development process in the company

The Ideal Candidate

● 3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning engineering

● Comfortable with experimentation and rapid prototyping of proofs-of-concepts in the field, and willing to explore innovative machine-learning solutions and iterate quickly

● Solid mathematical background in statistics, linear algebra, and calculus, a good understanding of deep learning architectures, natural language processing models, and reinforcement learning algorithms

● Sound knowledge and demonstrable experience of great practices in Python (e.g. linting, auto-formatting, static analysis, etc.), ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, proficiency with either TensorFlow, PyTorch or Jax

● Proficiency with testing methodologies (unit, integration, end-to-end), as well as familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices

● Previous experience in working with open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) and fine-tuning is a plus

● Previous experience with system languages like Golang, C/C++, Rust is a plus

● A proactive and optimistic attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, great project management & organizational skills, attention to detail in work, and excellent cross-functional communication & collaboration skills

● Previous experience working in a fast-paced start-up setting is a strong plus

● Being a CAMEL-AI.org contributor / Familiar with CAMEL-AI agent framework is a plus
