This esteemed manufacturer is inviting a proficient Composite Manufacturing Technician to enhance their growing team. The role demands a candidate with a keen eye for detail .The successful individual will be adept at various composite manufacturing techniques such as infusion, wet lay up, pre preg, cutting, bonding, and performing meticulous finishing work. The role is working on a test piece basis and there for involves working to drawings to build one-off parts. This will be a variety of bench and medium size components The role requires operation of specialised machinery and equipment, and collaboration with engineers and specialists to refine workflow and meet production targets. Quality is paramount; conducting inspections on components made from materials like fiberglass, carbon fiber, and reinforced plastics is a key part of the role. The ability to interpret engineering drawings and follow detailed work instructions is essential, as is the skill to repair damaged composite components. Candidates must demonstrate experience in working with composite materials and possess a strong foundation in safety practices. The ability to work independently and self-manage is crucial, as are excellent problem-solving skills. Proficiency in cutting, forming, machining, and measuring composite materials is required, alongside strong communication and teamwork abilities.
