Blair West is working in partnership with Eden Farm, a national wholesaler and distributor, part of AIM-Listed Kitwave Plc as they look to add a talented, qualified Financial Controller to their growing Frozen & Chilled wholesale division.
Ensuring all accounting processes are completed in line with agreed reporting deadlines.
Leading the month end close process to deliver timely, consistent, and accurate data and financial reports for the business.
Performing timely and accurate reconciliations and analysis to provide assurance over the reported financial performance of the companies.
Preparation and reconciliation of the month end margin.
Review of Balance Sheet Reconciliations, completed by Finance Manager, owning, monitoring and addressing reconciling items, identifying risks and opportunities.
Leading and driving all IT/ Finance improvement projects.
Play a key role in the year end audit including the production of lead schedules and sample data.
Managing and improving accounting controls and processes.
Line management of on-site transactional finance, principally Credit Control, and finance manager.

A qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
A driven, commercial and forward thinking Finance professional.
Good with commercial and business acumen, together with an ability to communicate and explain financial results.
Experienced in a senior role within a fast-paced environment.
Great at communicating and have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders including senior management.
Experienced with IT programmes (Excel, Word) and Finance Systems.
