The Electrical Contracts Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing electrical contracts from inception to completion. Contract Management:
Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and execution of electrical contracts.
Project Management:
Plan, schedule, and manage electrical projects, ensuring they meet deadlines and budgets.
Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
Monitor project progress and performance, addressing any issues that arise.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding contract-related matters.
Provide regular updates to clients on project status and progress.
Financial Management:
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.
Approve and track project expenses, invoices, and payments.
Conduct financial analysis and reporting on project performance.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks.
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and documentation.
Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on all project sites.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures.
Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams and subcontractors.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, plans, schedules, and reports.
Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients.
Ensure all project records are properly archived.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management or contracts management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Financial Acumen: Proficient in budgeting, cost control, and financial analysis.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management software and other relevant IT tools.
