Job title: Principal Engineer – Functional Support

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with Engineering Managers to manage recruitment activities
  • Supporting the team with recruitment activities
  • Supporting the Early Careers activities throughout the year; including recruitment and management of placements
  • Responsible for developing capability management plans, working closely with the delivery teams to maintain the domain capability
  • Managing SQEP resourcing to match programme delivery needs

Your skills and experiences:

  • Degree qualified in a STEM subject, or equivalent experience within Engineering, particularly electrical
  • Background in the Electrical Engineering domain
  • Competent in Microsoft packages
  • Ability to communicate with stakeholders of all levels, including upper management
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Chartered Engineer Status

The Domain Team:

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team tasked which offers exposure to the wider strategic initiative. This role offers a wide range of exposure to different teams across the Barrow site whilst individually being given the opportunity for professional growth within the function. Joining this team allows you to work across various functions as well as the potential to advance the recruitment activities within the domain.
