Role - Design Engineer Location - Manchester Area
As the Design Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of both standard and bespoke containment and clean air equipment for the highly regulated medical and pharmaceutical industries. This role requires close collaboration with our engineering and sales teams to develop mechanical designs and create detailed drawings of machinery that meet industry standards.

Design standard and bespoke containment, aseptic, and sterile applications.
Collaborate with the Sales Team to provide concept design solutions during quotation and tender processes.
Drive best practices in Design for Manufacture (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
Ensure compliance of product designs with regulatory standards such as EU GMP and ISO14644.
Proven experience as a mechanical design engineer, with at least 3 years in the medical and pharmaceutical industries.
Expertise in aseptic processes and containment device design.
Experience in taking projects from concept to final detail design.
Proficiency in Solidworks 3D and AutoCAD 2D.
Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication.
Creative and innovative mindset, with the ability to propose new ideas and improvements to existing processes and products.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or minimum HNC level with relevant industry experience.
