Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for supporting autistic learners? We are currently seeking a Key Stage 2 Teacher to join our specialized autism school located just outside the bustling city centre of Taunton, Somerset.

Our school is situated in a modern and spacious facility designed specifically to accommodate the unique needs of autistic learners. Located conveniently just outside the city centre of Taunton, our school provides a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Role Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver tailored lessons for Key Stage 2 students with autism.

- Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere conducive to the needs of autistic learners.

- Utilize specialized teaching strategies and sensory accommodations to support diverse learning styles.

- Collaborate closely with colleagues and support staff to ensure individualized student progress.

- Maintain open communication with parents and guardians to support the holistic development of students.

- Uphold the school's ethos of empathy, understanding, and inclusion.

Candidate Requirements:

- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

- Previous experience working with autistic learners is preferred.

- Strong understanding of autism and strategies for supporting diverse needs.

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

- Dedication to creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
