Position: Process/Technical Project Mechanical Engineer
Shift: Day shift plus bonus

We are seeking a qualified Process/Technical Project Mechanical Engineer with a strong mechanical background and basic understanding of PLCs and CAD design. The ideal candidate will lead engineering projects to enhance the manufacturing capabilities at our Bridgwater site.

Lead the delivery of engineering projects to introduce new manufacturing capabilities and automation.
Identify opportunities and requirements for engineering projects to enhance production.
Develop engineering concepts, including design work, to define and validate solutions.
Collaborate with suppliers to define and deliver project solutions.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Ensure compliance with Machinery Directive and other relevant regulations through safety risk assessment and :

HND, degree, or equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
Experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
Expertise in developing solutions for electro-mechanical machinery, with skills in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Proven track record of leading successful engineering projects through a structured lifecycle.Proficiency in CAD and/or PLC programming.
Ability to plan and execute projects efficiently.
IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
Technical writing skills to document engineering evidence clearly.
The Technical Project Engineer will work closely with the Engineering Technical team, colleagues at the Bridgwater site, and external suppliers to execute projects. This role will also influence the site's engineering strategy and support the development of best practices and skills within the team.
