Are you looking for a new challenge in the ever-evolving world of Sustainability? If so, we have exciting opportunities to join us as Sustainability Associate, within our Strategic Partnership team?

As our Sustainability Associate you will lead the launch and implementation of the Fenwick Sustainability strategy and roadmap. Engage with internal and external stakeholders and partners on specific CSR projects and initiatives, across Community, Textile Waste and Carbon, to deliver against Fenwick goals.

Working with the Strategic Partnerships Director and Manager to raise positive awareness internally and externally of our commitment to Sustainability. Whilst guiding and motivating a network of in-store and central-office Sustainability champions to help achieve our goals.

About you:

You will have previous work experience within a CSR role.

Have Comprehensive knowledge of at least one area of Corporate Responsibility with an understanding of the CSR landscape overall and awareness of the digital landscape.

Be a confident communicator who can engage effectively and build positive working relationships with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Able to produce accurate written materials on Sustainability topics that are clear and engaging for a range of internal and external audiences.

More about our Sustainability Associate role

  • Key voice on Sustainability within the business, across the store network and with external businesses and partners.
  • Lead conversations with internal colleagues and stores on the CSR strategy, roadmap and timelines. Owning the delivery of CSR projects again the roadmap, with the support of Sustainability Champions.
  • Keep up to date with CSR developments across the areas of ‘Textile Waste’, ‘Community’ and ‘Carbon’.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of Fenwick sustainability guidelines and ensure these are embedded and utilised across the business and our external partners.
  • Working with local Sustainability Champions within stores to co-ordinate and monitor community initiatives in line with the Sustainability Roadmap.
  • Work alongside the PR and Communications team to develop and implement the Sustainability communication plan for internal and external use.
  • Work closely with all areas of the Brand and Marketing team to deliver sustainable activations, in line with the Marketing campaign calendar throughout the year.
  • Take a proactive role within the Brand and Marketing team - contributing and generating new ideas on sustainability to help with campaign planning.
  • Plan and deliver CSR partnership alongside Strategic Partnership Manager i.e. fashion rental, PRIDE
  • Regularly communicating updates on Sustainability activities to Brand and Marketing team and other functions during weekly meetings.
  • Monitoring and reporting on market trends and key competitor activity on Sustainability.
  • Proposing budget required and managing budget spend on projects and CSR partnerships, plus financial reporting to line manager.
