Job Description Are you passionate about driving impactful collaborations in the dynamic world of healthcare and life sciences? We're seeking a talented Senior Research Collaboration Manager to spearhead our efforts in nurturing existing partnerships while paving the way for groundbreaking new initiatives.

The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care to improve the health and wealth of the nation through research and is the major funder of health and social care research in the UK.

The Senior Research Collaboration Manager will have a leading role in supporting existing collaborations and the development and scoping of new collaborations or strategic initiatives.

The post holder will work with existing and new partners across the NIHR Infrastructure, life sciences industry, medical research charities and the broader clinical research landscape to support collaborations across multiple disease areas, primarily consisting of the Translational Research Collaborations (TRCs).

Support the development of TRC/collaboration strategies
Facilitate engagement with medical research charities, other parts of the NIHR infrastructure, funders, the life sciences industry
Horizon scan and stay abreast of national developments
Provide intelligence reports and analyses
A biomedical science degree with experience in the life sciences research sector
A track record of successful management and delivery of projects
Experience of planning and delivering meetings and events
An understanding of how NHS clinical research
An understanding of how to apply Research Inclusion principles
An understanding of the broader clinical and social research environment

A postgraduate degree in biomedical science
Previous experience of working in clinical research

This is a 12 month, fixed term maternity cover position, with a strong possibility to go permanent with the other programme teams.

NB : This role will be based in London at either our Twickenham or Victoria office with frequent travel within the UK. This is an office-based, hybrid role with an expectation for all employees to attend our offices a minimum of 4 days a month, usually worked as one day per week and may increase, subject to team requirements.
