Belmont Recruitment are recruiting for a Housing Operations Officer to work with Central Bedfordshire Council. The Housing Maintenance team are responsible for delivering core business functions to a multi-million-pound, modern, People and Values led Housing Service, through the provision of high quality repairs services and technical support, ensuring customers’ outcomes are at the centre of what is delivered. The team play a key role in maintaining business performance, supporting the Housing Service in delivering a high quality investigative and remediation repairs service that reflect the Council’s corporate objective for excellence.
To provide comprehensive business support to the Housing Maintenance team by leading on, managing, and responding (as key point of contact) to Housing Property related customer complaints.
You will explore the circumstance of the complaints, prepare responses, and to support managers in responding the complaints and making service improvements or changes to address the issues arising.
You will take overall responsibility and a holistic approach to ensuring that complaints are responded to appropriately, within agreed timeframes, questioning actions, proposing service and system improvements, and supporting managers and teams, and creating solutions to achieve positive outcomes.
You will liaise with other Council services in respect of issues raised during complaint investigations, including the Council’s Legal Service, Finance, Highways, Public Protection and Community Safety .
You will be responsible for ensuring data and records are accurate to aid management and strategic decision making
Hourly rate is negotiable depending on experience.
